Hi
I may be getting the 19:30 bus from Santo Domingo to Bilbao on Sat 4 June.

The bus arrives downtown and I think there is a shuttle to the airport.

Does anyone know if It runs late at night as I think I arrive around 10pm?

Thanks
Tess

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Thanks v much for the info.

One further question: do I need to buy the Santo Domingo to Bilbao bus ticket in advance and if so, how?

The service provider is Autobuses La Union Y La Burundesa. You can purchase tickets from their website. You can also purchase tickets at Santo Domingo ... sales point is probably the bus driver. You likely won't require a ticket in advance to board the bus. The only exception to this rule of thumb is holidays when buses are going to be full.

In Santo Domingo de la Calzada go to the Tourist Office, Calle Mayor 33, and ask where to get the bus as well as where to purchase the tickets. There is no bus station building as such. Often long distance buses board by the kiosk/waiting room at the plaza San Jeronimo Hermosilla.
