On 17th October 2012 I stayed for the night at the Albergue Parroquial de Tosantos, a Franciscan house where we were given a great welcome. Our group of five English pilgrims helped to prepare the evening meal and I sang some Taize chants with hospitalier Jose Luiz before, having shared our meal with other pilgrims, we went up to the chapel for evening prayers. It was a memorable evening. We were each invited to write down a prayer request and hand it in before leaving so that on the following day pilgrims could pray for us. I was with a young woman called Rebecca who had been talking to me, as we walked from St. Jean, about how much she wanted to be a wife and mother, so that is what I wrote down as my prayer. I would be very grateful if someone could tell Jose Luiz that Rebecca now has a baby boy and is to be married in a Catholic Church on September 5th. I would write to him myself but as I can't speak Spanish and he can't speak English the communication might fail!
