Hi all .... I'm flying from London to Barcelona or Madrid (depending on cost) on 5 September and will be getting a train to Pamplona. Can anyone give me an indication of price please? Renfe site won't let me book a train this far in advance and I'm just wanting to know a price. On a pretty strict budget so every euro counts :( Cheers, Trish.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Try getting price of ticket for next week. It'll be ball park. You won't get a better answer here than you will from Renfe.

Have you considered flying London to Biarritz or Bilbao? Both are much closer to Pamplona.

Looks like I can get a flight to Bilbao and then a bus to Pamplona ... all for about NZ$150! So thank you so much for your suggestion xx

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Trish, it might be a bit far in advance to book just yet, but try www.railplus.co.nz. I've used them before to make train bookings in Europe, without any problems and it makes life so easy to have your tickets before you go.
