Travel info Triacastela to Leon to Madrid

We will be flying into Madrid with Ryanair on Tues. 2nd June at 9.55am to start the third section of our Camino in Leon. Is it better to get a bus or train to Leon, in terms of ease of access from the airport? Should we book this before leaving home?
We reckon we should get to Triacastela by Wed. 10th and our return flight is booked for Thurs. 11th June at 21.00hrs, again from Madrid.
If we reach Triacastela by Wed 10th should we try to get a bus back to Leon that afternoon/evening? Is there a local bus service? Website/timetable for same? Then we travel from Leon to Madrid airport on the 11th, (if this is the best way to do it?) and need to be at the airport by 19.00.
If anyone has knowledge of the best way to do this I would love to hear from you. Many thanks.

There are ALSA buses from Madrid Airport T4 to Leon and the buses are more frequent than the train. The Renfe train is faster and more comfortable. You'll have to do your own time appreciation.

Bus service to Triacastela is limited to one bus daily each way between Pedrafita do Cebriero and Sarria. The evening bus terminates in Pedrafita do Cebriero (1843 - 1931)

ALSA provides service from Piedrafita do Cebriero (note the difference in spelling) to Ponferrada. The last bus leaves 1820 - you're stuck in Piedrafita do Cebriero for the night unless you want the 0050 bus.

The 0050 bus from Piedrafita do Cebriero arrives Madrid airport T4 0700.

Otherwise ALSA bus 1120 - 1200 gets you to Ponferrada.

Renfe train Ponferrada to Madrid (Chamartin) 1241 - 1738.

You can take the Renfe Cercanias or the Metro from Chamartin to Madrid airport. Allow an hour.

Or you can take an ALSA bus Piedrafita do Cebriero to Madrid (Estacion Sur) 1310 - 1930. I think you might need to book a seat on this one for it to stop in Piedrafita.

You can take the Metro from Estacion Sur to the airport - allow an hour - and that leaves very little time to get your plane.

I didn't use your dates ... you must confirm your timings.

Take a taxi (or walk) to Sarria, then bus or train to Madrid. Triacastela is fairly inaccessible by public transport.

Good to know that about Triacastela - I don't think we have time to walk to Sarria but taxi is an option. Thanks for posting.
