walking every day for the rest of my life
It’s been a largely unfriendly group we ended up walking with on the Primitivo this time. But each night we’ve had a lovely wee update from @ksam who was ahead of us.
Then yesterday she took a rest day and as we walked into Sobrado a presence erupted from the cafeteria and raced across the road, swallowing us in a big hug and impressing the kids that she knew their names. It was such a lovely change and we spent a delightful evening together.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

We spent some time with @ksam before you arrived, and she was indeed very keen to meet you!
I hope the end of your walk has not been affected by the cold snap.
Buen Camino!
Andrew ( the bearded bloke who saw you when you arrived at the convent)

Hi Rachel and family
Glad to read that you met a friendly face yesterday..
Surprising reading that the group you walked with have been largely unfriendly... it’s hard to picture or imagine on the camino ..

Buen Camino
Annie

We had met a friendly trio in A Fonsagrada but didn’t stay with them in Lugo and then we took the green route so were on our own. We met that trio on the way into Santiago today and they were so enthused by the “Frances friendships” they had been observing since Melide. They thought it was just that the Primitivo was different but I told them for us it was super friendly last time. I think it depends on the people you’re with. Some just want to stick together. If we had walked more with the trio we’d have been cooking together and having a more communal experience.
FTR, we were the first group that they had found to be friendly too so who knows what was going on!!!

Bearded Man @AJGuillaume it was great to meet you briefly too. Thanks for saving us a few hundred steps!!
