Fantastic sketches Davy! The video is a little blurry - are you using pencil and water colours? I keep thinking I ought to do something like that, but was going to use pen and ink - how are you colouring your sketches? I can only hope to do 10% as well as you, but you've inspired me to try! Keith

Thanks Kieth.
I can really recommend sketching as you walk. It adds an extra dimension to an already wonderful experience. Spend an hour trying to capture the colours, shapes and shadows of a landscape and then walk into and through your picture.
You have to plan for the extra time. I found myself putting in a couple of long streches in the middle of the walks to keep on schedule. But it was worth it!
I use a combination of techniques. Watercolours for the landscapes, pens and watercolour wash for the buildings, I have as set of grey scale brush pens which was good for the granite of the Camino Portuguese amd sometimes just pencils.
The video is a vit hazty as I just didit on my phone camera. I rarely take phots thes days, but if I look at one of the sketches Im in that place again instantly :)

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Well done Davy! Those are beautiful and bring back memories for me too. I wish I had the patience and talent and really appreciate you sharing with us.
