Let me add a reminder that you will want to renew if your passport is going to expire in the sum of 6 months plus how many months are required to process and retutn it. Many (most?) countries want to see that 6 months in the passport or you may be denied entry.

Both Spain and France require 90 days of passport life beyond your period of stay. So, if you intend to depart one of these countries on say, September 30, your passport can not expire prior to December 30.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
