Google Street View covers many of the segments of the Camino Frances. For example, you can start at the link below, and follow the road from Acebo to Molinaseca (and into Ponferrada and on to Villafranca and up the Valcarce valley to O Cebreiro). You could have started in Astorga, too. In places, the Google camera sticks to roads, so you have to settle for watching the pilgrimage route cross the highway. It is a fun way to occupy a few minutes...

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

WOW, this brings back some crystal-clear memories! It was a misty morning when I left EL Acebo, and I watched the sunrise as I walked out of the village and down the mountain. I ate so many blackberries that day, I was afraid I would get sick!

Thank you so much for sharing this link! I am a Spanish Teacher in the USA, and I have been sharing some of my Camino experiences with my students... what a marvellous supplement to my stories and my lessons!

Ha ha! SisterPearl, there was a guy selling cherries as we approached Molinaseca in May. We almost made ourselves sick as well. Maybe this should be a new thread; 'Which fruit made you most sick on the Camino?' :D
