Hi, does anybody know is there is a homeless shelter at the city and if one can volunteer for a few hours or make donation? Thank you.

Yes Caritas has.

And I believe a religious order also has a kind of soupkitchen ( apart from the Caritas group ) but will have to do more research.

I think it is a brilliant idea!!

Also the Franciscans https://franciscanossantiago.org/ collect regularly goodies and host the homeless in a corner of their monastery.
