Good morning intrepid pilgrims! Looking to start my longest camino ever in july 2021. GR 65 is waiting😀, Via Gebenensis, Via Podiensis and Camino del norte in one go! Expecting to arrive in Santiago by first week of october.
it has been a scary year, but living in Spain Has been a blessing for my past walks, even in 2020… I hope that vaccination will allow me to land in Geneva as planned😁
Adventure is waiting and I am eager to go. Will see you on the way, As usual, Buen Camino fellow pulgrims 🥾👣👣🙌

Bon Chemin!

I'm planning to start just across the border in France about June 10th since it doesn't look like Geneva will be open yet. Hopefully there will be a few other pilgrims along the way to Le Puy.

Bon Chemin Federico!
i am getting ready to start and wanted to ask you about your adventure with the accomodations, are they all open? Has it been easy to book? Is it advisable to book or walk in is ok?
I guess there are hardly any pilgrims on this route.. have you seen enthusiasts 😁?

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
it may depend when you go but in general there are few walking the GR65 from Geneva. It seems the gîtes are open and happy to see us. Tourist offices may have current information about who's open and I have found them helpful.
After Le Puy en Velay you should expect to reserve a day ahead, unless you are camping. Campgrounds do have accomodations in trailers and fixed tents so they are a good option even if you aren't carrying a tent.
Bon chemin!! It's a wonderful way. I'm in Rocamadour tonight and still excited about what tomorrow will bring.
