Time of past OR future Camino
finished second half ...now working on first half
we want to go to Lourdes before starting the Camino proper and i thought it may be a great chance to walk in France from Lourdes to Biarritz - is this possible ? are the villages not too far apart ? is there accommodation available in the villages ? is it mainly roads ? etc etc .....thank you ....

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
thanks mspath - yes i noticed that and have had a look - the info is in French but my schoolboy French can cope (just) - lots of altitude to deal with but that needn't be a problem ....:)

Hi Gerry. FYI - if you use google chrome as your browser, it can automatically translate the French sites into English for you. Buen Camino!

I don't understand why you want to walk to Biarritz and not to Saint Jean Pied de Port? Actually a better option, imo, would be to walk from Lourdes to Oloron St. Marie and from there to Somport and then the Camino Aragones until Puente la Reina where it joins the Camino Frances. Buen Camino, SY

We walked from Lourdes to Jaca, then down the Aragones Route.
It was a fantastic journey!

Gerry
I an also wondering about your route plans, if you were thinking of walking Lourdes to Biarritz.
The usual route would be to walk Lourdes to Sjpdp to start Camino Frances or many prefer Lourdes,Oloron st Marie, Col de Somport onto the Aragones to join the Camino Frances. as above mentioned by S. Yates
(I hope to do the latter one day).

thanks for the feedback people - the Camino route seems to be a moving feast for us at present - i'll look up the Aragones route and see what thats like - cheers
