Has anybody walked from San Vicente de la Barquera to the Monasterio de San Toribio and then walked/bus back to the Camino del Norte? Please share your stages, availability of albergues and anything else that might help me to plan it. Thank you kindly!

I have walked to the Monasterio from San Vicente, but I then continued on the Vadiniense to León. I think that if you will be going “out and back” you can just repeat your stages. Gronze has good information.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Thank you kindly! I would like to avoid the Frances though. Maybe I will just count the walking days left and bus me where needed or something similar.

Bus leaves from Potes. Timetable here https://transportedecantabria.es

It is possible to stay two nights in the Potes albergue.
Thank you! Did you walk this route by any chance? What did you do if you don’t mind sharing pls. I have 32 days between flights and would love to walk the Camino del Norte including the detour to San Toribio.
