Walking the Camino in October

Hi everyone,

I am planning on walking the Camino Frances in October, 2016. Has anyone done it at this time of the year before? I heard it is a bit quieter at that time and there is more of a chance of rain?

Well, since you asked... some of us think it is the best time of year! This thread asked that same question not long ago. We have a gathering on this thread of the pilgrims who are starting in October 2015. You need to be prepared for any time of weather, and you'll probably get it, but that is part of the fun. Just search "October" and you'll find lots to enjoy reading.

Walked the CF this May - June. Plan on leaving Roncesvalles on the 5th of October, 2016. Maybe we will pass along The Way. Buen Camino.
