As a first time walker, I am exploring a guided tour but am not sure what companies are reputable. I found that FrescoTours are very expensive but great reviews and am looking for a review on Frontier Holidays and Camino Ways. Anyone have some exprience with either of these companies?

Thanks!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
There are many many companies that provide guided and self guided tours on the Camino so you are spoilt for choice. I would personally recommend Spanishadventures.com which is run by a friend of mine. Have a look see.

I just completed my solo adventure (after a failed attempt to walk with a friend through the Pyrenees) with Caminoways.
They completely booked a walk that was personalized to me.
I told them how far I wanted to walk every day and they accommodated me.
Price varies depending on your choices -- 2 star vs 3 star. Breakfast included, breakfast and dinner included, whatever you want
It was of course pricier than albergues, (but significantly cheaper than the same distance that I walked in England) and quite frankly I didn't have to abandon my trip again, so I was happy to pay for the experience.
Good luck
Cheryl

For those of you who are using the ATM colour chart. One bank is suggested at less than 2 Euro when in fact was 4.50 Euro per withdrawal
