My turn has finally come. I enjoyed the coastal route and the Portuguese so much last year that I am going back to walk the Portuguese Central route, Sanabres, then the Inglés route again. I will first start with 4 days on Sao Miguel and visit the three towns on the west side that my grand parents were from. I leave in a few hours.

I wish you all safe travels and a buen camino. I hope to meet you on the trail. Watch for the guy with the gray flat top hat and gray handlebar mustache! It is not likely I will be on the forum while I am on Camino and am usually pretty quiet for a while when I get back but I will be back.

My flight arrives in Lisbon 9/13! Probably slim to nil chance of our paths crossing but I'm extremely nervous about the long stages from Lisbon to Porto (I'm just in from a 17 mile walk with a very light pack and I'm pretty sore) so look forward to your comments.
