Hi Laurie - We are neighbors! I live in the "east bay" area as well. I am walking Camino Frances from SJPdP in late April 2016 to Santiago....then hopefully to Muxia and Finesterre for my big "5-0".

Great job on your blog site! I'm hoping to get one up and running before I leave on my camino to keep family and friends updated.

I am sure this has been said many, many, times. Martin Sheen and the movie "The Way" got me interested. Then it seem as though the Camino kept calling me. The more I learned about it, the more it seemed to call to me. It is a beautiful journey. For me it was a journey of spirituality, adventure, indurance, and culture. It was my experience that when the Camino calls, if you can, you go.
