I plan to buy hiking poles in Lisbon (since it looks like carrying them as checked-in baggage is more expensive).
From my limited online research I noticed most major outdoor stores are way outside the city centre.

Can anyone recommend a store in the centre (near the Lisbon cathedral) that has hiking poles?
Or if there isn't any close to the centre, at least near the Camino route out of Lisbon?

Many thanks in advance.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The big chain Decathlon now has an in-city store. It has hiking sticks. It is right next to the Corte inglés on Rua António Augusto de Aguiar. Can get off at either Parque or Sao Sebastiao metro stop, though the Sao Sebastiao stop is probably a little closer.

Hop on the metro (blue line) at either terreiro do paco or Baixa/chiado and it's a quick ride. Metro in Lisbon works great.

Or SPORT ZONE, in in the Shopping Center Colombo (open 10h00), the metro (blue line) at either Terreiro do Paço or Baixa/Chiado.
Or SPORT ZONE, in in the Shopping Center Vasco da Gama (on the way) (open 10h00), at the Parque das Nações (Nations Park), the metro red line.
