I just received an email from Rosa cancelling our reservation there for this coming August. (Personal reasons, she said. I hope everything is ok.)

Any recommendations for a place to stay nearby?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Have a look at Gronze.com. Lists an albergue called Casa Sagres, and a casa rural. Both have good reviews on the site.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
I had hoped to stay there at the start of June while walking the Invierno, i wonder if they are closed for an extended period, Their Facebook page indicates that they are open, I better send them a mail and see whats the story, Thanks Kasee

I just received the same email. Did you find another place tot stay?
For the moment I can't find anything for August 17th.

I just stayed in La Torre a few weeks ago, and it’s fine, clean and basic. They do not use ‎WhatsApp, so you have to call them on the phone. If you want a room with a bath, make sure to say so. Otherwise, they may assume that as a Pilgrim, you just want the cheapest option, and they have several rooms with shared.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I've also stayed at Hostal La Torre. It was great. Good bar/restaurant next door.

Their website has been down for a couple of weeks. I wonder if they are closed. I’m going to try to text them on WhatsApp.

Their website has been down for a couple of weeks. I was hoping to use email or WhatsApp because my Spanish is pretty basic. Guess I’ll have to muddle through. 😅

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-

When are you going? I'm going to call them tomorrow. If you want I can ask information for you.

The bar/restaurant was full of locals when we were there (Oct 2023), so doubtful they've closed down completely. Keep trying. Good luck!
