I have 16 days later this month to walk the camino. I've done this before so am not focused on reaching Santiago. I really love the quieter routes. My biggest concern is I don't want to be cold or wet. Suggestions?

Weather in the south is more likely to cooperate with your objective than starting in the north. Starting the Ebro in Deltebre, the Levante in Valencia, the Mozárabe in Almería or Málaga, or the Vdlp in Sevilla, would all be good choices. All but the Vdlp are likely to be very solitary. I have started these routes in late April/early May, and the flowers and green crops were gorgeous, but you may be a bit early for that.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
