These are such lovely pictures! I can't imagine doing the camino in such conditions. I complained when it was a bit chilly! Well done, and Buen camino!

As someone who does winter mountaineering in the Southern Rockies in the US, I congratulate you both on your courage and abilities! I'll be walking in May; a bit warmer.
gracias,

You said two Dutchman you didn't say two crazy Dutchman. Good for you and congratulation on making it. It looks like the trip was exciting and full of adventure. My hats off to you both.

These are my Camino pics fro February '14. Well done Dutchmen.

I walked between Burgos and Leon meeting 1 Korean, 2 Germans, 2 Spanish 1 French, 1 Austrian and 1 Englishman on the way. I walked with them all at various stages and was never alone in an Albergue.

The weather was fine but very, very cold.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Not too many people on the trail I see . . . :0)

You photo are great what time of year did you walk. I see that there aren't many people.

Hi I walked for six days 17-22 Feb. '14 inclusive from Burgos to Leon. The cold was unreal in the mornings. Albergues were open but some were 30k apart.

I met some pilgrims who had experienced snow like the Dutch men above. Therefore I was relatively lucky with the weather.

WOW!!!! Absolutely beautiful pictures!!! And just makes me happy to be walking in Spring!! Huge kudos and congratulations to you both!

You are a brave man to be out there on the Camino in cold and isolation. I must admit that the isolation excites me. I like being alone with my thoughts and my guide with no one around to interrupt my concentration. Congrats to you brave sole.

Hi Jabaldo, We left Ponferrada Feb 8th and after that the "fun" part started. We have seen a few Pilgrims along the way, however 99% of the time we were completely alone and that made it unique as well.
We were expecting more people on the Camino that timeframe and when we walked into Santiago we only noticed a few (3-4) other Pilgrims. It was a great experience that I will never forget!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
