Greetings!

A selection of Camino Jewellery
I’m increasing (secretly) drawn to this journey but wonder/worry that as a 73-year-old solo female traveler with bad knees: Is it crazy to consider or pursue? Thank you in advance for your kind advice!
Not crazy; though some might suggest that there are many that are on the Camino and on this forum. Definitely something to consider, indeed there is an entire list of things you might like to consider:

How far do you walk in any given day;
How far do you think you could walk with a little practice;
Which Camino are you considering and from where;
How's your Spanish;
Will you be comfortable sleeping in a mixed gender bunk room;
How fond are you of Lomo and chips;
At 73 you have gained more maturity than a lot of pilgrims but there will be many of your seniors on the Way, everyday

You might find this website useful for understanding the various routes, landscapes and accommodations https://www.gronze.com/ otherwise this forum is a great place to ask questions once you've formulated them. And, by the way, welcome.

Carpe diem and Buen camino!

PS. I first walked in 2004 at age 65 and finished my 10th complete camino in 2014 when 76. For personal commentary regarding walking these years on the CF see my Camino Gazetteer.
