Can't believe how much I want to go back....

I can't quite believe how much I think about my one full camino last year and my 200k from the year before. The yearning to go back again is extraordinary and really unexpected. The most amazing thing in my life - I just pray that in the not too distant future I can find another five weeks to give myself over to that most wonderful place.

Hi Gillyweb, I had that feeling too so am booked to go again this May. I walked last year and met the most fantastic people. If the Camino calls to you; then you need to reply. Buen Camino Helen

Yeah, it can sure get inside you.
I know not everybody has the urge to walk it again. I've stopped asking myself why it does that to me, and I was never that spiritual a person previously.

I have 'found' 6 weeks and cant wait until i start walking again...on april 24th. I cant even explain what the camino does for me but I just cant resist the call back. Its great to have this forum to express the way I feel to like minded people who 'get' what im talking about. My family and friends sure dont get it. Many of the comments are 'you're too old (im 59 and fit enough)..Youre insane ( that one from my 83 yr old mother) and my son wants to 'fit' me with a GPS!! Haha...luckily I have a good sense of humour.

Go girl! Your son only wants to know where your having such a great time. He's jealous. If we keep doing these walks or unusual adventures, maybe, just maybe our children will see the light and follow in our footsteps.
