Could someone please tell me if google translate got anything wrong! (for a start, doesn't camino have an "h" in it when it's in Portuguese?) Thanks

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Somebody correct me please, but don't have all credenciales be approved by the Cathedral to be a valid, in terms of Compostela, proof of pilgrimage? SY

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
You can make your own credencial but without the approval it does not have to be accepted but if its complimentary to a genuine one which you are also getting stamped no problem.

Rachel, I can´t see the picture, can you somehow paste it in? I´m guessing that you have made your own credential. We had a long thread on this within the last year (but I can't find it) with some people insisting that you must have an official one or it won´t be accepted. That has never been my experience, I have always found that the pilgrims´office accepts homemade credentials as well, though I don´t think they are "required" to (since they make the rules, they decide what´s required anyway).

Out of an abundance of caution, if you´re going to make your own, I would just get an official one for the last 100 kms and get the requisite stamps and then there will be no problem. Bom caminho, Laurie

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
