If you have purchased the 2015 edition of John Brierley's guidebook, 'A Pilgrim's Guide for the Camino de Santiago', for the Camino Frances, take a quick look through it and be sure it has all its pages.

I just got my copy in the mail from Amazon and it's missing pages 193-216. Those pages cover three stages, from Villadangos del Paramo to Ponferrada - some important information missing, including the Cruz de Hierro!

Hopefully if your book is missing pages you can resolve it before you go to walk your Camino...

Wishing you a good Way,
Nancy

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Just checked mine (2015 ed. purchased on Amazon) and it's alright. Thanks for the heads-up Nancy!

Receive the 2015 issue from Amazon three weeks ago. It's all there. Perhaps a fluke, but thanks for the head's up!

Good catch!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Thank you.
Good old military page-check action. That is exactly what we were required to do each time a new publication was received, we did a page-check, and on the "changes page" we wrote our name and the date the page-check was conducted. I did check my copy of Brierley (2015) upon receipt, and it had all the pages.
Thanks again.

It was probably just a bad batch that got sent to Amazon. I hope there weren't too many copies missing pages!

Here is a pic from 2016, I love the simplicity of the sketch map and directions "1 km climb up, 5km flat, 5km down". I wonder how the prices are now?
