¡Hola!

Dear Peregrinos,

A quick update, the last one from me, to say that I´ve made it, I´m in SdC and hanging around town for another week or so. Any concern that I might get sick of seeing mochilas and bastones has been put to bed. I would like to say thank you to Ivar (again) for storing my package, and to my little camino family for being there along the way. The camino provides.

The important lesson, among many, is don´t give up. I was tempted to quit whilst standing in line for the Compostela (1,200 the day before I got there: oh, the humanity!) and I was tempted to quit walking from Fisterre to the lighthouse in favour of beer and brunch, but thank heavens, I didn´t.

I recommend giving yourself plenty of time, to walk and to walk around town in SdC. This wasn´t my first time but everything seemed bigger and more vivid when I arrived second time. Be sure to stop by Pilgrim House and chill out.

That´s about all. Buen Camino.

Philip

P.S. I´m happy to say I found love this time. (For M., besos y abrazos)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
