I am Flavio Edreira, a Brazilian Autoral and Documental Photographer, and I will be doing the camino sept/oct 2016, I have done it before (2011), the purpose this time its all about Photographing the people and places of the camino ( the project is called faces and places of the camino de santiago) and also talk to this people and film it, its about making a documental photography and film history about it. I am writing here to ask for help from anyone in sharing people and places that they know at the camino (that represents the essence of the camino) that I could contact before going to meet them at the camino. I am looking for hospitaleros, pilgrims, church people, people that lives along the camino, volunteers... In my work all I will need its people that has the real essence and meaning of the camino to talk to. About the places of the camino, I will be looking for simple different places from the ordinary to show it. I will be walking from St Jean to Finisterre starts september 27th, and anyone that would like to go along are welcome. I will be very glad to receive the help for my research in this project.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
