We are currently at San Nicolas Alburgue and so happy we made a reservation because a festiva has closed the municipal Albergue and many pilgrims could not find accommodation. After a 28 km walk from Roncevalles in 30 degree heat, many have caught taxis to Pamplona as energy levels were too low to continue. Today was hard - lulled into a false sense of security after the " hardest" first day from SJPdP - but just loving the support and comraderie along the way. Thanks to the forum, I am airing my feet and treating hot spots ... So far so good! Thank you all. Buen Camino! Cxx

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Did this section in heavy rain in April 2012, think I would prefer that than the heat.
Buen Camino Marg, enjoy the rest of your Camino.

Hi,

Well done on getting to Laraosanna safely! That was one place/albergue I wanted to stay but was exhausted after reaching Zubiri that I stayed here in Zubiri! But, the next day, I went into pretty Laraosanna to have a look round!

Buen Camino!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Where did you stay in Zubiri? Would you recommend it?

Since this thread is quite old do check out the Gronze listings for many places to stay in Zubiri.
My favorite has often been
Albergue El Palo de Avellano which takes reservations . See more here
Happy planning and Buen camino!
