Traveling Chiropractor?

Time of past OR future Camino
Frances (2015)
Hi all!

I did my first Camino in the Summer of 2015 from SJPDP to Santiago!

I am currently in nursing school and was thinking of sharing the Camino experience with my fiancee during the summer of 2019.

She is a Sports Chiropractor in the US (with a bunch of seemingly random letters after her name for her certifications in physical therapy), and I had the idea of retrofitting a backpack to carry her travel-table on my back while she carries a majority of our "normal" gear. The idea would be to provide free/donativo care to weary travelers along our way.

Does anybody have any information as to the legality, practicality, or general lack thereof of my idea?

Sincerely,

Tommy

St James' Way - Self-guided 4-7 day Walking Packages, Reading to Southampton, 110 kms
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I don't know if this is helpful information but I have two ideas. First, is that chiropractic care is not very common in Spain, but massage is given widely, and based on my experience, it is not regulated at all. Also, I have an American friend, who recently opened a chiropractic office in Logroño (the first) and he may be able to give you some insight if he has the time. (Or you could pop in for an adjustment and say hi) ;) The office is called Centro Quiropráctico Logroño and his name is Kevin.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Thanks! I emailed him just now!

Nobel idea but I'm thinking more from an insurance perspective. Is your fiancée covered to practice her skills in another country? As with any health based profession, things can go horribly wrong. I'd look into that big time before touching anyone.
