Hi, I am from the UK too and will be walking from Tui to Santiago on 22 September with four friends - which will be my third 'slice' of the Camino. Where are you walking to and from? Buen Camino!

Hi MTower, I'm starting from Saint Jean on the 12 Sept to Santiago. Tui, thats the Portuguese Way? I considered that route but lost my nerve, as its my first adventure, I thought it wise to start on a more accommodated route. Although I'm concerned I've picked a busy time to walk and have visions of sleeping in a door way somewhere

Never in a door way! Had to take cover for the night in bushes as a teen though. Most uncomfortable night ever!Nothing wrong with this. Have you ever done it?
