Hi - does anyone know if there is a unique credential for the Primitivo? I know about the del Salvador credential in Léon for Oviedo, but with the Primitivo being the first of its kind I wondered if there is one dedicated to its significance too?
Very best and big love to all.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

No. Same credencial for all the Caminos.
Not true!
Salvador has its own design of the credencial. I can post a photo if you wish. (And for other Caminos too!!!)

But to the OP - if you'll be in Leon get the Salvador one and in Oviedo you can get another one in Cathedral office.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

The Salvador Camino is unique in that it doesn't end in Oviedo. Caminos that end on Santiago all (can) use the same credential.

But @trecile Camino San Salvador is unique exactly because it does end in Oviedo!

Hence the saying:
"Quien va a Santiago
y no va al Salvador
visita al criado
y olvida al Senor."

Oops! Of course that's what I meant to say. 😳😄

We are arriving in Madrid on May 5th. I went online today to purchase train tickets to Oviedo and it doesn't show any train service. Does that mean the trains are sold out? Or maybe some other...
Hi, has anyone walked the Primitivo in mid-October? What was it like? Weather, tracks and accommodation? I plan to walk from Oviedo to Lugo only, then bus to Santiago after. Thanks for your input.
