Start of my Cancer Camino

Thank you everyone. Just had a round of 3 bcg treatments after a clear checkup. So here is to a good start. Planning for Via Baltica / Scandinavica almost complete. Hope it goes well for rest of year.

I really would like to complete the camino frances this summer and have five weeks to spend. Does anybody have a list of reasonable non-luxury pensions? Or a plan that could include occasional two daybreaks to rest? Would be very grateful to hear from others who have taken this route and timescale!

Also if anyone who has already completed the camino could recommend a good reading list suitable for the length and spirit of the camino....?

I had missed this thread altogether and am glad to have found it. I've been through the cancer mill and know the feeling of being in it and emerging on the other side. SO.......may you and that staff by your front door be in Spain soon, and joyfully!
