Something I learnt in my travels (for Apple users) is to also store my documents in iBooks or Documents in iCloud so that if I lost my phone they were still accessible.

You're ready, kiwi-mama! How lucky are we to have the "trip of a lifetime" so frequently?! Buen camino, Laurie
Too true, we are! This coming 3 months will (all being equal) be my first really long Camino. I truly feel so lucky that retirement and other circumstances offer me this chance. I pray that I don't experience a feeling of excess but gain something new from the extended exposure to the simple life. Still only two more sleeps before I fly off to begin finding out. Yippee! :(:( +( :) x 86)

I just want to say three cheers and my hats off to Rachael and her kids. This is terribly off-topic but this morning I saw a post of Rachael and her kids at the airport in Madrid with 5 HUGE bags weighing 115 kg with hand-made blankets which she brought from New Zealand to Spain for refugees. With thanks to Bienvenidos Refugiados - España and the Asociación de Apoyo al Pueblo Sirio they are hopefully are now on their way to Syria!!!

Sorry Rachael, I hope that you don't mind interrupting your thread and Buen Camino!

Rachael and Al, all my hopes that you both have wonderful Caminos. I'll be out there somewhere, probably on the CF, from the end of next week. Maybe we will all meet in Santiago at Casa Ivar. Fingers crossed for light winds, fair weather, not too much mud, and happy companions.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
