Thanks folks! Yes, I believe I'll do the Frances again. I've thought about doing the other routes, and maybe will in the future if this one goes well... but I suffered from bad tendonitis on both of my previous Caminos, and I'm not sure if I could make it on those long stages.- lindseh

Re: Re: medieval pilgrimage? I don't think it will, there really are all types on the camino. I honestly wouldn't be too surprised to see someone in medieval clothing in the Camino. You'll certainly get a lot of attention and questions so be prepared for the onslaught of curiosity!- lindseh

First time starting around 4 to 6th May 2013
Hi Julie, I'm starting on May 3, and I'm also walking alone. However, you'll soon find you're not alone for long! Particularly that time of year, we may have more company than we want! It's normal to be nervous, but try not to let your worries get to you too much... the Camino provides. :)...- lindseh

Camino Frances - April 2013
By the way, in 2011 I started third week of April and only got about 3 days of rain in total from SJPP to Santiago! Fingers crossed for similar circumstances for your camino. :) Lindsey- lindseh

Hi Maria, The weather will most likely be fine by that point of spring to cross the Pyrenees. However, poor weather and even snow is still possible. Heed the advice of the pilgrim office when you arrive, as there is an alternate safer route to walk in case of treacherous conditions. Most...- lindseh
