Camino Francés (2013)
Hello everyone,

My husband and I are hoping to walk a bit of the Via de la Plata end of March to the beginning of April. Arriving to Santiago is not essential as we have already completed several other caminos.

Can anyone please recommend what you may consider to be the best section of this camino, i.e. scenic, albergues aplenty, etc.

Many thanks in advance for your suggestions.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Try to take in Zafra, Mérida and Caceres. Or Salamanca and Zamora, but the scenery is less good.

Seville to Merida would be ideal in that time span and gives you a day in either Zafra or Merida.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
