I completed my first Camino last Sep/Oct - the CF. It was wonderful and as I have posted previously, I have definitely caught the Camino bug. I asked for input from Forum Members a few months ago about my 2nd Camino in Apr/May this year - re-do the CF, or the CP from Lisbon? I had great feedback and advice (many thanks) and had my heart set on doing the CF again - a bit slower/different season and staying at different places..... but, the real world intervened. I now have to be in Fr in mid-Jun and then in the UK mid-Jul. Just a month between commitments - it’s a long way to/from Australia so rather than go back and forth on aircraft for days and days, I have decided to stay in Europe and do a Combo Camino. I will start in Porto 22 June for the ‘second half’ of the CP, then do the Ingles from Ferrol with the Finisterre/Muxia circuit following that. A total of 22 ‘Brierley walking days’ - which fits my constrained schedule perfectly. I am looking forward to this ‘somewhat shortened Way’ very much and I hope that there will be a similar sense of Pilgrim companionship as well as that of completion and achievement which I experienced on the CF, despite ‘finishing’ in SdC 3 times!!! Well, I will see I suppose; fingers crossed. I have already blocked-out mid-Apr to late-May 2020 for CF #2. Nevertheless, I hope to see some of you on the trail(s) this Jun/Jul. Cooee
