A storm approaches! (Mid-April weather)

After days of sunshine, blue skies, and melting snow, another winter storm will be hitting the Pyrenees this week. Prepare for howling winds, freezing rain, and perhaps more snow. Pilgrims should ALWAYS check their weather apps, checkin with tourism offices, and talk to locals when walking on these shoulder seasons.

The Canfranc Pueblo donativo is open every day of the week until the end of October, but other accommodations and many cafes/stores are closed on the Aragon route this week after the Semana Santa rush and due to the bad weather. Plan appropriately for food, water, and clothing.

Great advice that should be heeded on every camino we walk.
 
The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Good advice, we should always be prepared for sudden changes in the Pyrenees, any time of year.
