Nope, never and I have been walking it since 2011. I have met a few pilgrims with a slow southern drawl but they ptofessed to being Yankees. The closest I ever came to a son of the south was Mark Lee from NOLA a few years ago.

American Pilgrims on the Camino is an organization and has chapters around the country.

Mobile and NOLA are less than 2 hours away. I actually went there last weekend and got two special charms I will be bringing with me - one to leave and one to be blessed. Honestly I have found very few people who even know what the Camino is in Mobile other than people who work in independent sporting goods stores.

Surprisingly....there is not a APOC chapter listed for Alabama.

Maybe some of the folks here from Alabama can use the forum to communicate together and get one formed. Easy to do and is pretty rewarding to have others local to share and plan with.
