Hi folks does anyone know the status of the albergue in Dona Mancia on the Malaga/Cordoba route? I have just returned fron completing the route when I arrived in Dona Mancia I expected there would be an albergue. On a cold and wet day I was informed by local police that there was 'no albergue' no other information.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
There used to be a parish albergue and the police held the keys for it. Helpful police officer showed me the way there and handed over the keys. I spent a night there about six years ago. Very small and uncared-for. If the police say there is no albergue and it doesn't show on Gronze then I assume it has been closed down.

Last week week we stayed at Hotel (Nueva) Mencia Subbetica in Dona Mencia. 4 star hotel reasonable price, breakfast included. Late lunch at the train station restaurant. Yum!! Buen Camino.
