Hello all,
I am walking to Finisterre and Muxia from Santiago early October and staying a few days in Muxia. Can anyone recommend a very friendly albergue or any accommodation that does a communal pilgrims meal each evening please.
Many thanks
Sarah

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
In Muxia, Angel runs the albergue Bella Muxia. He doesn't do a community meal as such but often has a pot of something going on the stove and won't see a pilgrim go hungry.

In Finesterre, the World Family Bar used to do a community meal every evening for a donation.. interesting alternative place..

Not sure of current situation with both places as I haven't been since 2019..
Perhaps others can confirm..

I stayed in Bella Muxia in May last year. I thoroughly recommend it. Big pots of soup, & dishes of other yummy food was provided. It was donativo, help yourself, not a set sit down meal together, but there were others eating at the same time. And Angel has the most appropriate name 😇

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Late to this post, but FYI others, I stayed at Bella Muxia a few weeks ago, and they had 2 pots of different soups and fresh bread complimentary for us. It made a delicious snack, but I could have made a whole meal out of it. Beer, soda and snack vending machines were in the eating area also. Stayed there in 2017, and several pilgrims had made so much food for dinner, that, even after getting dinner in town, I could not pass up a large plate of spaghetti and sauce, plus the large bowl of soup initially placed in front of me. All I had to donate to the cause were a couple huge chocolate bars, but they were a big hit for desert.

Hi all, At this stage looks like we are going to finish in SdC on Friday, our flight home is only Monday night. The weather forecast doesnt look to be promising - showers over the whole weekend...
