Hi all, after completing the Camino Frances last May /June ,I'm hoping to walk the Camino Portuguese from Porto to Santiago and maybe on to Fisterra if I have time . I have spent a few hours looking online trying to find out the Albergues situation from Porto to Santiago along the coastal route , I havnt found out yet if they are open or there location .I hope to start around March 20th from Porto .Hoping to walk about 20 to 25 km a day . I would be grateful if any members have links to this information . Thanks .

If you go to the tourist office in Porto in Rua Dos Fenianos, near the main train station, they can give you very good updated information and maps, worth the stop!

and they are very kind too.

Thank you so much for everyone's help , I am going through all the use full information to get a rough plan together .The main thing I need to find is whether or not the Albergues are open , as we are starting around March 20th , I would imagine some might not have re opened after the winter shut down ? I normaly don't like to plan too much , but I am walking with a group this time so feel a responsibility to sort things out a bit . Thanks again , Roger .
