Hello Christine,

If you are referring to the 2 options you'll have once you've passed the Sanctuary of Guadalupe, the Alpinista route goes up over the ridge and has amazing views of the sea. The other route skirts along Mount Jaizkibel and is pretty flat until the descent into Lezo and San Juan, which you'll have to do on the Alpinista as well. Although it is called Alpinista, you have a good climb at first, I definitely would not consider it hiking the ALPS!
