Today 21/12/20 hibernation seems a great idea here in the frigid Northern Hemisphere!

so that's why I am sleeping longer! Even my body clock set to Camino time has had to give in to Nature! Snore soft, stay in bed and only get up when it is absolutely imperative

I love this article, especially the torpor bit! Any evidence that home brew had anything to do with it? I have just had two sherry glasses of my herbal mead. Gorgeous stuff, and now to siesta!

I've always joked that I'm part bear. And from mid-December to probably mid-March, my energy level is zapped. Finally I'm learning to roll with the punches, so to speak. This is my circadian rhythm. And it's in my DNA. Clearly!

I made a point to stay in Atapuerca while doing the Camino. It was one of the best choices. There is a museum there and in Leon about this. Fascinating!!
