Another pilgrim killed by a car

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
So sad to hear. That road is right by the Albergue São Teotónio and is fickle to cross. Cars sometimes come with high speed from the nearby highway exit.

More sad news. :(

While walking on roads safety rules are vital.

1. Walk on the left side of the road so you can see traffic coming close to you.

2. Walk in single file not side by side.

3. Do not use a phone, watch for traffic.

4. Do not use earbuds, listen for traffic.

There is a wide sidewalk and parking on both sides of the road. It must have happened when he crossed.

I walked a few days ago by the road crossing where the accident happened.
I prayed on the site of the accident.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Bless Merja Laaksamo, the present leader of the Camino group walking to Santiago and a friend of the deceased. Pray for the courageous group of pilgrims who carry on walking for the coming days, who deserve to be accompanied by our thoughts.:)
