New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
You could go to little fox house which is donativo basis so even with a generous donation would still likely be less expensive than a hotel/apartment rental. Do a search on the forum for more info.

I thought the question was for fisterra not muxia? I do agree that the little fox house sounds a loverly place to stay at the end of your camino, i myself had considerd a short stay there last month but was unable to get there due other arrangements.

In Fisterra there is a great ( well priced ) family run Pension/hotel Pension Lopez , great rooms with fantastic harbour views, i stayed ther last year and know of others who also stayed there, their experience was also positive. It is about 50m off the camino on the high side of the road watch out for the gnomes on the stone wall:)

There are a number of private albergues in Fistera that have dorm rooms and privates,
I can recommend Albergue Le Paz €10 - nice, backpackers kind of place. Stay as long as you like, r
Albergue Finistellae €12
Albergue do Sol €10
Albergue O Encontro €12 (up to €15)

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

If you stayed in someone's home and enjoyed a pilgrim welcome, good food, and excellent accomodation wouldn't you give the same or MOREthan you would pay for an hotel or apartment rental if you could afford it?

According to the OP, they're on a tight budget.

BTW, that's why I said "generous donation" and hotel and apartment which would likely be expensive and not hostel which would be cheap.
