Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
That model of Lowe is big enough, and you will probably have room left over which means that you don't have to be as concise with your packing. Understand that a volume of pack that is bigger than you need does not mean the extra space should be filled.... quite the opposite. Aim to pack it with as little 'stuff' as you can so that you have more empty space, and therefore a lighter pack :)

The pack itself is not a bad bag and is decently comfortable for a full day of backpacking. It is heavier by a full pound+ than the weight of a number of comparable packs with a better feature set. Of course, how easy it is to access a backpack from a specific equipment manufacturer depends on where you live and how much time you have prior to your Camino departure. :)

As long as you are carefully fitted to match your spine length and hip dimensions, this pack will not give you a lot of grief. :)

While we all agree that Lowe makes a quality product, and this model appears suitable to purpose, I highly recommend trying one on, with a dummy load in it, BEFORE you buy. Something that LOOKS promising, might hurt like hell when you wear it for 8 hours a day for a month.

If it is not convenient to find a local retailer that carries it, MAKE CERTAIN you allow enough time to buy it, try it, and return it for replacement if not comfortable.

Just sayin...

Hope this helps.

Used one on my camino in April. Good pack and even when completely submerged in a river, most everything stayed reasonably dry with exception of camera in hip belt pocket. My biggest problem with it is the lack of opening at base although slightly compensated by side opening into main compartment. Comfortable on the back, air zone keeps you dry and adjustable back length very good. I would have no problems recommending this pack

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Thanks all.... what would be a better alternative?? What packs open at base???
Looking at this pack as have a Voucher for my local outdoor shop and Lowe Alpine is their preferred supplier. They also do limited Berghaus packs but sizes were too big for me. Is there a recommended Berghaus I could ask owner to look at getting in for me to try??

Yes I have the same one. Have used it on two long Caminos. It has the advantages of being both top and side opening. Has a number of convenient pockets as well.
If you want this capacity it is a good one. The smaller 30l one is lighter but less room.
Happy walking

My back country pack is a Lowe I've had for twenty five years and I love it—for deep back country expeditions of 10 days or more and while carrying 60-65 pounds. BUT, not for the Camino. It's not light weight. That's why I went with the ULA (please see my comments above).
