The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Paderborn locks their door at 10pm (according to Gronze).

What about emailing Albergue Casa Ibarrola?
I found them very friendly and helpful. They speak English and reply promptly to emails.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I have stayed at Hotel Eslava 3 times and booked it on Booking.com. It was about 30 Euros? Simple. Clean. Great location and it's nice to have a private room after a day of traveling and jet lag. There is a nice little breakfast included in that price too. The owner was so nice and helpful.

Loved this place!! They have the coolest 'pods' to sleep in and the shower was Heavenly!! The owners were also a joy to be around! Very friendly!
