Great idea. I greatly enjoyed the facade of the cathedral exploding with fireworks and apparently aflame itself on the eve of St James Day, 2004. Having my son and daughter with me amidst the crowd in the Praza Obradorio that night is an abiding delightful memory.

Equally enjoyable were both times touching the Zero Kilometre stone having just arrived. That pleasing anti-climactic moment combining euphoria and relief. Then to lean against that building opposite the cathedral and just take in the view, watch the constant theatre of pilgrim arrival, the joy and tears, camaraderie and loneliness. Bliss.

So, 'seems reasonable to save up a few euros and contribute.
