1st...you do not want to carry pillows and blankets on a Camino...those are the most dropped items on the Camino between roll-out sleeping pads and large cotton towels...2nd...for a pillow I suggest a long pillow case that you can put soft clothes in and tie the end to use as a pillow...I thought I would use my jacket as a pillow but one night it was so cold in the albergue that I sleep in my jacket...3rd...there are silk travel/sleep sacks that you can that takes the place of sheets and I recommend a large one if you move a lot in your sleep so your legs to get tangled up as easily...these silk sacks come in a travel bag and only weigh a few ounces...also I bought mine on e-Bay but you can buy them almost anywhere now...lastly...part of the Camino experience is learning to live on the basic necessities, being uncomfortable most of the time, and still realizing that it was one of the best experiences of your life.

Take a light sleeping bag, it'll keep you warm and happy. I tend to get cold at night easily so that was my solution. Most of the people have sleeping bags, some have sleeping liners but I think that is for later in the season. I walked from Porto to Santiago in Apr-May and from Lisbon to Porto in late Oct. There are not so many albergues from Lisbon to Porto, the stages are long, so make sure to have enough water and some snack with you, especially before Coimbra. After Porto the accommodation options are plentiful, especially if you follow the central way.
