What books does everyone recommend for the camino frances? I'm looking for a guide book, with limited personal details and more about the facts of the trip, like where to eat or better yet not eat, sleep and such. Any help would be great, thanks.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

The book I've chosen to plan out my April camino is this one by Ben Cole:

A second edition has just been release so it must be quite up to date. Reviews look good and the content appears to be highly relevant (where to eat, sleep and walk)

You would not call it a guide book but almost indispensible is the CSJ's "The Camino Frances 2006"

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
