bPack bike Delivery

I stopped by the tourist office in Santiago yesterday and picked up a few new brochures that they had.

One of them included some information that might be useful for those of you biking el Camino.

bPack is a company that I have not hear of before, but it seems like they offer to ship bikes from Santiago and back home. This can all be arranged at the Santiago tourist office on Rua do Vilar 63 in Santiago or by phoning +34 902 190 160.

bPack also have a website, http://www.bpack.net

The brochures have a few price examples:

Iberian Peninsula: euro 35,-
Europe 1: euro 172,- (France, Benelux, Germany, Austria, Italy, UK, Portugal)
Europe 2: euro 196,- (Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland*, Norway*)

* = Customs surcharge

Packaging optional: euro 12,-

Price includes delivery of two panniers (VAT not included)
(Ivar: I believe the VAT is 16% for this kind of services)

I hope this is helpful.

Un saludo,
Ivar
